I would be grateful for some feedback on some of my pics on Flickr (linky in my sig).
I've post-processed in Lightroom to give some of them a HDR "look" without them actually being HDR. They're in the "Scapes" and "Britain" sets. Do they look overcooked?

Why would you want to fake an HDR look anyway?

Thanks Fen - the reason for the "HDR look" is so I could get cloud detail as well as other detail. And I didn't have a tripod with me for any of those shots.
I also quite like both certain slightly oversaturated and certain desaturated images in general - a personal thing. So I tended to boost saturation, but too much for your taste (amongst others I am sure) at least.

I think in the end... as long as you like the results that's the most important thing
