Buying Advice: Panasonic Dmc-tz5/case/tripod/sdhc Memory
      #677762 - 11/07/2008 17:10

I'm about to buy a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 (approx £180) and need some suggestions on which case/tripod/memory card to buy. Can anyone help?

Case: Tough & rugged and can fix on to a belt (needs to withstand a 3 hour mountain walk!).
Tripod: A light one, tall enough to extend to about 1M, yet preferably fit into a rucsack.
SD Memory: Which sites offer affordable ones?

Many thanks,
Frank

My FX30 lives permanently in a Lowepro Rezo 15 on my belt. This is possibly a bit small for your needs as it only has room for the camera and a spare battery or card. It's a good reliable case which seems pretty secure so it's probabaly worth you taking a gander at some of Lowepro's alternatives...

For a tripod something like a Modo from Manfotto may fit the bill... Alternatively there's this one from Calumet.
