Compact camera shutter release
      #677558 - 11/07/2008 11:36

Hi there, just wondering if anyone knows of a good compact digital camera that features a remote electronic release, preferably using a mini jack connection rather that a small USB connection.

Hope you can help.

Hello and welcome

Would something like this do the job? Click here

I think there are other non-electronic cable releases that screw into the tripod socket and adjust to place the shutter release over the shutter button but I can't find a link.

Why do people with expensive cameras say you don't need one to take good photographs

Thanks for your reply, I was thinking more of an actual camera that is capable of being triggered by an electronic remote shutter release. I have a timer unit that I would like to use with the cheapest available camera but i'm not sure which camera that may be.

cheers

#1)

and the rest were older ...going back to 1998

So, I am afraid you don't have much of a choice (currently) for a camera
with a Remote Control

Cheers,

Jack
