Went to Waddington Airshow yesterday and tried photographing aircraft for the first time...bit fast to keep up with!!

Some great shots there, particularly like the No.2 and No.4 No.4 looks like it was taken from another aircraft at altitude!
I live not too far away from Waddington and was expecting to see some of the aircraft fly over the town on their way to/from the show (usually do) but this year - nothing!!

What no pictures of the Vulcan on it's 1st public display flight after restoration?
I have a beut with the sun glinting off the wing and cockpit just as it became airborne after the rain stopped.
Sorry can't post here as I don't subscribe to flikr unless there is another way to get it onto this site.

Doesn't have to be Flickr, click here for Gigafiles ; others use photobucket, imageshack, putfile, you can also link from Fotopic but they don't make it as easy as some of the others.

Thanks for the kind comments! Yes 2 & 5 are the Vulcan...
After the rain stopped it turned into a lovely sunny afternoon. First time I've tried photographing aircraft and found it challenging to say the least!

Hi Nick,very good quality photos,extremely well done on your first attempt ! I've been to airshows for 20+ years,was looking forward to Fairford last weekend to give the D80 a good workout(alas cancelled)- what camera/lens did you use ?
