Was out trying to get a few landscape shots when I decided I'd go for something at a smaller scale.
Camera isn't that great with macro shots but hey!

I'd like to crop these little beasts down but I'd probably spoil the image :P

I don't think you'd lose that much by cropping.

The 1st pic, get rid of the top flower and stalk on LHS, they detract the eye (surreptitious cloning?). The 2nd, crop out the leaf in RH corner and the 3rd may need enlarging/cropping to remove what looks like wire underneath and a bit of cloning to remove the bird poo on the leaf.

All in all, though, IMHO, very good and a darn sight better than what I get.

i love the first photo! i really loved blue colors, so loved the blue dragonfly there.

They look pretty good to me Nice and sharp form head to tail.

I wouldn't bother with cropping...they're big enough in the frame for me. Just try finding ones against cleaner backgrounds to make them stand out more or see if you can get away with shooting at a smaller aperture to make them stand out from the background more.
