I am hoping to get some advice on which camera to get.
I was initially pretty sold on getting the Ixus 860 to replace my now dying Ixus 430.
I have read far to many reviews and as a result have decided against the newer 960 and 970 models as the general concensus is that there are not as good and that the wide angle of the 860 is a big bonus.
I have always been very impressed with my canon and was convinced i wouldn't be swayed to a different brand, but while in Jessops today i was shown the Panasonic Lumix FX35 - and now i am torn!
The Panasonic seems to offer everything the Canon does and more besides - and in a much smaller packet!
But i have no experience of Panasonics image quality etc, so if anyone has any useful advice that would help in my decision i would be eternally grateful!
