Cans Festival graffiti - Waterloo, London
      #662832 - 04/06/2008 22:36

Today I finally got around to visiting Leake Street which is, fundamentally, an underground disused roadway that runs under Waterloo. It recently became the site for the Cans Festival, a graffiti fest featuring work by leading graffiti artists including Banksy (but his work is matched by many others). I've put half a dozen images on my Flickr site and would highly recommend a visit to anyone who lives within striking distance. My only reservation had been that I think it's quite lame to just photograph other people's art, but it seemed to me that there were endless opportunities to make your photographs your own.

Thanks - I think I've only just scratched the surface of what's there and what's possible.
