Stopped on the way home back from the gym at the wonderfully names “Sludge Beds” in Exeter… Playing with my 180 Tamron plus an old 2 x converter – nice to have some sun after all the recent rain!

. . . . and today we were Clout shooting.

A competitor at the Southern Region Clout Championships at Dunstable, Beds. About 2 p.m. - a dull, misty day, Canon EOS 1DII with 100-400mm lens.

Growing Our Own [Re: huwevans]
      #661638 - 02/06/2008 09:15

A last minute capture as I forgot my camera whilst out and about.

This is our tray of veg growing on our window sill. It was only planted 4 days ago!

Location: Chard, Somerset
Date: 01 Jun 2008 23:30
Camera: N95 8GB

Sorry for the wonky horizon

Dave.

The Morning After The Night Before... [Re: huwevans]
      #661676 - 02/06/2008 10:52

Well, the afternoon after actually... Had been to the Circle Line Party aka Last Party On The Underground the night before, to enjoy one last night before Boris snatched away a little bit more of our freedom. This is a next-day-food-concoction of leftover curry on toast, scrumptious!

Had a lazy day so my turn to post a pic of my monitor

Complete with pic of the "macro fence" that pretty much always has a load of bugs queueing up to have their pic taken and I don't have to crawl in the mud

Derby to Crewe trains were terminating at Stoke-on-Trent so we had a ten minute turnaround which gave me a few minutes to step out the front of Stoke station to snap this statue.

Bit of a disaster... [Re: huwevans]
      #662568 - 04/06/2008 12:15

...because I could have had a cracking shot for FirstView - had I been able to use my camera...
Instead I had to rely on the kindness of my friend, use his camera and now I can't get hold of the non-resized files. Never blooming mind.

Shuttleworth last Sunday, Panasonic Lumix, no idea of the settings, some time in the early afternoon:
