I don't know what happened there. Hopefully shortly, a photo will be re-posted.

john_g, I like this shot very much indeed. I'm almost tempted to say it's missing a chanter, but that would be altogether too frivolous. Anyhow, well done.

Some pretty good entries so far, this time I'm going to try a bit harder - done a few but not happy with them (self-criticism is the worst eh?)

I'm on the edge of a pedantic outburst about cellulose cell walls, chlorophyll and taxonomy....but I like pictures of fungi.....so I will bite the lip....

Would a photo of a steelworks constitute 'plant life'? Or is that too lateral? Just a thought.

I think the pic is just in the boundaries, I'll wait to be rapped on the knuckles if it's not.
I don't think they're edible, I didn't give it a go not even with a full English breakfast. Thanks for the feedback on the pic, much appreciated. This is part of a concerted effort to get out and take pics as I have lapsed lately.

ZX9s Venus grabs my attention. And what a deadly grip she will exert on the unwary. Fine light, great angle. Well done.

This has been really hard this month, I've never photographed flowers before but I'm determined to use the full potential of my camera!
Some of these shots are brilliant, I don't think my macro is quite upto those standards so I spent a weekend in my mums garden, finally went for something simple but a bit different, I hope!

I've been searching for an old tractor (or similar) with weeds growing out of it. I couldn't find anything though, so I went with an unconventional macro.
