Congratulations, but I am left wondering why APs most prolific member, has not been given the job? After all, he has so many qualities ... He is qualified to apply poultices to the wounded during squabbles, lance the boils and treat the Piles caused by excessive sitting. Last and by no means least, he can provide extensive advice on the qualities of the various alcoholic beverages available, (Maybe including Meths and melted boot-polish) and apparently proffer advice on the selection of an Ovis aries and suitable footwear ...
[Colonel Trumpington-Smythe (Home guard, retired) Mode) I demand to know why this reprobate ... whoops gentleman has yet again been overlooked!

Well done Andrew and congratulations on your new appointment!
I'm sure you'll enjoy it 82% of the time, but you may be well advised to take an extended holiday when the E4 (or whatever it will be called) is tested by AP.

Would be much easier just to close that section of the forums down

But who on earth would want to suggest doing such a thing, even in the privacy of the mods' forum?

Hey...! Congratulations Andy...
...you realise you'll be chained to the forum deep down in the cellars under the Blue Fin building for the rest of your life... they'll pipe experiences of taking macro pics of little critters and racing headlong down scottish mountains on a bike directly into your brain to keep you happy...
...Oh b****cks!!! I wasn't supposed to tell you that bit!

It's him who does the couch test with prospective new Mods.

Huw has quizzed them about cameras... Myk quizzed them about sarcasm...
All I get to test is their choice of biscuits/cakes.

Yeah right. I just couch test the prospective new female Mods. Which is possibly why we never get any prospective new female Mods, but hey, girls, it could be worse, it could be Little Willy.
I think it's Fen's habit of sniffing all the prospective Mods that causes more trouble, especially when he takes a liking to one of their legs.
