I've just acquired via a relative a Pentax 110 complete outfit in superb condition and have managed to get a few cassettes of film at my local Boots but does anybody know a regular and reliable source of 110 film in the UK?

Jacobs carry Fuji and I seem to recall seeing Solaris at one time in their local branch. However, I don't know whether there is a Jacobs branch in your area. As you say Boots do stock it. It is possible their system reorders when the stock level is reduced to a defined number of units.

Retro photographic stock 110. How do you like the camera? I'm tempted to get one if it's cheap enough, although the results I have seen aren't much to write home about. It's just because it looks so dinky yet cool.
