For me, the first shot is by far the best of the bunch as it's a nice simple composition with interesting sky detail. I'd crop it to a more square format myself though to exclude the "white patch" bottom right of frame and I'd also attempt to "clone out" that distracting post/bird feeder/sign.................whatever it is.....................in the bottom left third of the frame.
The second shot just holds no intrest for me whatsoever I as I personally regard the electrical wires as ugly and unpleasing to the eye. As for the third shot I can see where you were going with the "splash of colour" in the frame but the actual subject matter itself I find dull and uninteresting.

thanks for the reply again will.
The first is also my favorite. I did another edit it on it, i removed much of the foreground and changed the colors and added more horizon... tell me what you think about this one.
Got you about the wires, I wasn't too too keen on it but the shot turned out alright so I thought i'd post it.
I am really going to go out and work on capturing more interesting subjects all around.

Yep, I do rather like that version of it also though I'd definitely make an effort to clone out that birdfeeder/post with a sign on top/post with a tin on top/marker/thingie majiggy whatever it is.....................but whatever it is my eye is drawn to it like a magnet as it's terribly distracting! Send in the clones!

haha, it's a gas pipeline warning sign or something of that nature.
here it is, sans distracting sign!
