Stourhead, Wiltshire (National Trust)

Hi all,

Looking to photograph at the National Trust Gardens at Stourhead.

Was woundering if anyone new the best time of day to visit when the sun is right for the classic shot of the bridge with the stone chapel thing in the background acros the lake??

Is the shot below what you have in mind?



Taken on 22/05/2007 at 10:44:37 am, according to the info. It wouldn't have been much after that that the face of the bridge would have been in shadow, followed shortly after by the face of the temple in the background.

I usually try to get there as early as possible and then wander round the lake time and time again as the light changes.
