Britain's best landscape locations?
      #649646 - 30/04/2008 00:39

We're doing a poll in What Digital Camera to find Britain's best/favourite landscape photography locations and are looking for nominations. All suggestions welcome but rather than general locations such as 'Northumberland', we'd prefer more specific ones, eg. 'Dunstanburgh castle'. Any pictorial examples in support of the nomination welcome. (Just paste the link).

Thanks

Flatford and the Dedham Vale - Essex

Castlerigg Stone Circle, Keswick - Cumbria

Aldeburgh - Suffolk Coast

Dunwich Heath - Suffolk

Ribblehead and the Three Peaks - North Yorkshire

Aw come on, all you've got to do is go out on Rannoch Moor, find the dead tree and locate the big holes left by a zillion tripods which have been set up to photograph it...

I have one 'favourite' place but it's probably not a 'best' (depending on your criteria) I vote for The Manger and the Uffington White Horse area in Oxforshire.

Of much more interest if they were.
