Hello -
I have a Leica M6, the new 50mm, an old 90mm and a Voigtlander wide-angle lens. I mostly use the 50mm, and tend to use it for shooting street photography.

Oh no you don't you have an M6 TTL 0.85.
I have a Leica III with a 50mm Elmar, that I use when I want to take some Nostalgic type shots.

I have an M6 with 50/2 summicron plus Voigtlander (aka CV) 15, 25, 35 and 75mm lenses - excellent value and highly recommended.
Also have a Jupiter 50/2 from a scrapped Zenith camera which is poor on build quality but gives quite good results at f3.6 - f11

Short answer: whatever I am comfortable with, and it depends on the sort of 'reportage'.
I mostly shoot film with a M6TTL (0.58) and 35mm or or 28mm lens, plus a 50mm f2 or f1.5 standard lens. I occasionally use a 75mm lens, but I find its depth of field is too shallow for fast action candid work, and results in many poorly focussed or missed shots.
If I really need to use a lens longer than 50mm, or if the subject is moving around a lot (e.g. a carnival), I prefer to use an autofocus SLR with a zoom lens .... For me, Leicas are tools, not a "way of life".
Nowadays, for casual, 'slow-action' street photography I often use a 1955 Leica IIIf & 5cm Elmar or 3.5cm/f3.5 Summaron. It is small and discrete, but quite slow to use. Also, many people do not mind being photographed with an old camera, but dislike being photographed with a modern one.
