Lots of these pics are giving me a nostalgia trip. Places I have climbed/walked over. Lovely. Keep it up folks.

That's such a great shot. Taken from near Ribblehead?

That zebra is stunning, and made me smile. Not that it's a funny image, but it nails the brief!

Thanks chaps. Glad you like it.

It was taken at the very end of January with this very competition in mind (if your watching Damien. It's not one I've plucked off my hard drive)

Wow, what a great photo of the Zebra. Sure fire winner.
Could even be in colour and we would not know!

Boat beach man [Re: zx9]

Love Fen's entry....................not sure about his "little man" though , I'd have cloned the bug*er out myself.....................but I ain't Fen, and if he likes his little man then his little man should stay I say!

You leave Fen's little man alone

Nice one Fen - great angle, great tones

Quite. I presume this was taken on Lancing beach - I photographed SM795 there last year!! Looks better in B&W.

Nearly, was taken on beach at the border of Brighton and Hove.

Oh! You've met Fen then, have you?

Easily recognised cruising the beaches dressed in an anorak and clutching a tartan Thermos close to his chest, pen and pad in the other hand and a scuffed telescope hanging on a string around his neck. The tricorn hat and eye-patch are mere affectations however.
