Courtenay Lights

I recently bought a nikon D200 and am still finding my way around it, but I have been offered a second hand courenay 1250 light could anybody advise me on this light and would it work with my camera?

It should work fine, however, I wouldn't connect it directly to the pc socket, you are better off buying a cheap wireless trigger, as the triggering voltage may be to high for the camera.
