I saw Polaroid's new gadget and had a daft thought. What if they could change the output to a negative? Then I could still use my medium format enlarger If it could be as time stable as a real film negative then it would solve the "how long will my digital files be preserved" question and insure our great grandchildren do have a photographic inheritance of a box full of great-granddad's old snaps - just as we have now. Providing of course the darned negatives don't get lost ....
