With what has happened to 35mm film SLR prices he might be being optimistic.

The camera body is digital and all the lenses fit Minolta and Sony dSLRs.

I've run through the list of lenses and their current selling prices on eBay and it works out he's asking a little less than what they should fetch sold individually.

Still too much for me though

What a shame that he feels that he has to sell. Comes to us all I suppose...

not for a few years yet for me I hope.

Then again, the trouble I am having in getting my wife to let me get the A700 as a second body sometimes makes me wnat to jack it in altogether.

We are moving (hopefully) to Lincolnshire soon, and I have the chance of getting work with 2 local pro`s (part time) but I need the second body, she says I can get one when it comes down to £450.

No chance of that then.......

Fantastic set of lenses. Ditch the 7D body, get a pair of Dynax 9's from Ffordes and you'd be set for years to come. Of course, if I was going to spend a fraction of this money I'd actualy get a 10x8 Shen Hao, half a dozen film holders and a new enlarger . . . Oh, and carry on shooting my XD7's
