I have remembered this month, honest... taken the photos, had them souped. I just have to scan them in now - after I've been shopping, cleaned SMBOs car while she's at work....

Inspired by the thread in the lounge, I've created a page of all my FirstViews. I did forget to post a few of them at the time though.

Here I'm sat, babysitting while my partner is at work (usually it's me at work). Decided to watch some DVD's from AP while my daughter was playing in her activity centre.
Remembered it was Firstview today and actually got round to taking a pic..

Not only did I post in FirstView for the first time but it was my first posted picture on the forum, only wish I’d had time to compose an interesting shot or could have waited for the light to get a bit better! Still not got the hang of low light pictures when hand held, mind you still not read my dSLR or D80 guide books yet so still in idiot mode for most shots.
I was going to hold of posting till I was a little more confident with the camera but after the thread discussing if it should carry on next year, I thought it was essential for everybody who voted for it to carry to actually make an effort. Plus I guess the whole point of the thread is to post anything you can without worrying too much about the quality of your image?! – happy to be shot down!

Prize for quirky originality goes to Mr. Geoff this week me thinks. Daffyd - just can't resist the arty low angle shots can you?
Need to go to the hairdresser myself actually...

It was either a low angle or huge burn-out from the window.
..And never mind me being arty, what with the 'artfully' draped D300 strap and Leica boxes sitting in the bags. Somebody's just spent the odd farthing on new kit I see.

Just made a set of my FirstViews on Flickr.
I only missed April due to not having my camera with me on the day!

miked... A bit of a chicken and the egg question...
Did your dog's fur grow into a perfectly rectangular rug or did your rug suddenly grow a dog in the middle of it?
Answers on a postcard please...
