Hello all,
Just a quick question - I'm trying to research the Hasselblad 1000F but can find very little about them. How does it compare to the 500? I know that the 500 has better / easier flash options (forgive the poor terminology please!), but in general use they appear to be the same, except a faster shutter for the 1000F?
Cheers, Alaric

A quick Wiki gives this, in the dim and distant past I worked for S/H dealer, 1000Fs would not be taken as trade in, they were considered to be unreliable and undesirable and hence difficult to sell. That was almost 25 years ago, I would keep clear especially as you can get a nice 500CM for not a lot these days.

I believe a Hasselblad 500C/M kit with the A-12 sells for around $500 U.S.

Thanks for the replies - I always forget what an excellent resource the wikipedia is.
Sorry, I should have said I'm not looking to buy - my interest was purely academic!
