Can anyone recommend an inexpensive RAW converter?

Cheers

Maybe the one that came with your camera? Raw Shooter used to be free but it's now been converted into Adobe Lightroom. Apart from that, maybe Photoshop Elements (I think it's 6 now).

Capture One LE. It's available with Sandisk Extreme III cards. I have a spare download code if you fancy it, send me a PM with your email address.

I'll vote for Capture One too... a beta for version 4 has recently been released and it's giving me very good results. It's not as comprehensive as some others but what it does, it does very well, in my opinion. Here is their website: Phase One.

Another one that might be worth a look is Raw Therapee. They ask for, I think, a $5 donation if you make regular use of it. You can get it HERE.
