Help with damaged Calumet changing box/bag
      #547428 - 28/09/2007 22:47

Hi all,

I have a Calumet changing box which has two curtains with zips. The zip on the inner curtain just came off. The box is only a few months old and I don't get how this happened. Anyway, I tried to fix it and I couldn't. My question is should I still worry about stray light since it has a first curtain with zip(even though this is silver in colour) and the second curtain despite having a broken zip and can't close it is matt black and it doesn't open much?

Or should I get some velcro?

Hope I made myself clear enough

I would try returning it to Calumet as faulty, assuming you have the receipt.

Well I may have voided the warranty as I tried to fix it by putting the zip back from the cloth cover. For that I had to make a small cut...and then it was a web order, I don't think I still have the receipt. It's one of those things that you wouldn't think would go wrong this way.

I know what you mean. It's not exactly hi-tech is it! The 2 zips must have been there for a reason, so perhaps it's not wise to use it in strong daylight. A repair with velcro has to be the simplest solution and may even be a design improvement! Good luck.

My experience of Calumet has been very good, they refunded me for an item which broke under warranty and was out of stock (so no replacement could be given).
