If you'd like to see your photos published in What Digital Camera, either as a portfolio or an Evening Class contribution (where it gets a critique from Martin Evening) post your website or web gallery URL here like this. (This one's to my flickr pages, just to get the ball rolling).

For the portfolio we obviously need a set of pictures, preferably on a theme, but Martin Evening assesses individual pictures, so just one would do.

Just had a thought - clever this; I guess that if we want to know if they've used our pics then we'll have to buy the mag................

No mugs or mousemats i'm afraid. Just Kata and National Geographic backpacks for the two portfolios and a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements for each of the four pictures published in Martin Evening's critique pages.

yes a clever tactic - and having seen all the pics everyone's submitted for the magazine I dont think I will be sending any - am in awe at the quality, you're all so very good. Some fantastic. But I will look through the magazine for sure! Good luck all ! :-)

Well, no, as it happens. WDC kindly send you a free copy of the mag in which your photo(s) appear. I had one in September's issue and was pleasantly surprised to get a very decent critique from Martin Evening. However, more than a month later, the promised prize of a free copy of Adobe Elements is still awaited, though the nice Mr Atherton did say in an e-mail that the sponsors, Adobe are traditionally rather slow off the mark to deliver said prizes.

Paul generally sends out copies of the mag to everyone who has contributed (if we get enough in the office). I think Adobe has appointed someone to manage the prizes now, so hopefully things will happen a bit quicker. I know Adobe sponsors features in other mags too so it must be virtually a full time job keeping up with it all.
