Yes, an early vote for the castle at this point. A very nice shot indeed.

Yeah it's not dust thankfully

They're House Martins actually - I guess they're a little difficult to see on the medium pic I linked up.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1243/1231038710_6af186159f_b.jpg - larger pic

There are hundreds of them nesting there at the moment, and they fly around the grounds a foot off the grass at crazy speeds, trying to catch them is more luck I reckon: http://www.flickr.com/photos/martypg13/1230177865/

Coincidently, I used to go to school and even sit next to Miranda Leathan (now Rock) whom I think lives at the house. Her mum used to be an expert on The Antiques Road Show.

Cool.

If you've never been it's well worth a visit ( the Horse Trials have now finished so it's Range Rover free again ). It's a fantastic building.

Totally off-topic... but why do your bench award graphics look like two people doing moonies?

Nice picture Geoff. Ive been inside that buliding before whilst at uni.
Fantastic place to work, if you like gaming. It was great to walk around and see how games are developed from artboard through 3D modelling to the finshed article.

Spinno..........................your picture is WAY too small! You're allowed 600 pixels on the longest side so go for that or we'll all get eyestrain looking at yours cause it's only 75pixels!

Boring [Re: El Sid]
      #536103 - 06/09/2007 20:25

I think my entry is quite boring, but I like it. I seem reasonable at the "stock" or "record" shops but I don't seem any good at the "unusual" photos :-(
