This section is a place for community contributors to point others to their PERSONAL web portfolios, and invite constructive criticism and feedback of the site's look and feel, design, layout and presentation, etc.

As such posting image hosting platforms is a pointless exercise (flickr, etc.) as the user has little choice in how their work is presented. Only post sites you, the owner, has had some input with regards it's look and functionality.

DO NOT post if you want image critique, use the Appraisal Gallery for that.

Remember, this is NOT a shop-window for Pro's or 'togs for hire'. And please, DO NOT post URL/domain names in thread title!

Can I also remind everyone of the Forum Rules & Guidelines with regards to signature & profile links to personal & portfolio sites;

Quote:

7) Links to 'personal portfolio & gallery' sites are permitted (within a post, profile or signature, where hosted on a commerce-free domain). They should be reciprocated when placed in a signature or profile, as a matter of courtesy. ('Links' being either active HTML links and/or plain text/image URLs.)

NB:
Sites posted by 'photographers for hire', or without a return link (where links are placed in signatures or profiles) may be removed without warning or explanation.

If you would like to use one of the buttons below as a link on your site feel free to do so. However, such buttons may be problematic with some proprietary gallery sites but it is possible to place hyperlinks pointing to either AP or WDC in your user profile - see HTML code below;

AP link with image;

Code:
<a href="http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk" target="_blank">
<img src="http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/images/ap_logo.gif"></a>

AP link text only;

Code:
<a href="http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk" target="_blank">Amateur Photographer</a>

WDC link with image;

Code:
<a href="http://www.whatdigitalcamera.com" target="_blank">
<img src="http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/images/buttons/WDC_button.jpg" /></a>

WDC link text only;

Code:
<a href="http://www.whatdigitalcamera.com" target="_blank">What Digital Camera</a>

--------------------------------------------------------
As several flickr account holders have had problems placing a link back to this site in their profile here's how it's done;

Goto the 'You' drop down menu in the upper navbar: select 'Your Profile'
Click 'Edit your Profile' on the right
Paste the HTML code into the box marked 'Describe Yourself...', placing it in relation to other content.
Remember to scroll down and click on 'Save It'.

Thank you for your cooperation.

NB
We reserve the right to remove posts that do not comply with the forum's rules and guidelines, posts from non-contributors, non-regulars, etc., without warning or further explanation.
