not sure if that's directed at me or in general?
It was just in general, but if anything I was agreeing with you. People take things a bit too seriously , Peace! Kisses to Will, Tanya, everyone

First we get Eeeyore's facsimile of Bamber Gasgoigne in 'Secret@. Now, looking again through this month's entries I find Colin Sargent's tenor saxophonist in Prague looks uncannily like lyricist Richard Stilgoe?

Tanya... an interesting & intriguing image you've posted there (Watching me, watching you, watching them) but it's got me a bit confused... how, what, why?... or should I just take it as it comes?

No, she shot herself in the foot by getting The Proclaimers in the background. I wondered what they were doing now

I like this one too (lots of good ones this month).
I wonder what he's saying to that post he's gesticulating at?

Wow, Alan, that is absolutely fantastic, the almost spotlight light, the shock on her face, the paper on the floor as though she's dropped it in surprise. Its like a shot out of a movie, like a rabbit in the headlights, as though she's been caught in the spotlight shoplifting. Absolutely first class!

Thanks Erm & Peter.
At a certain time in the morning the sunlight cuts through between the building in the Old Town onto Market Street just behind Waverley Station, I just happened to be passing at the right time. I took 3 or 4 shots over a minute or two while I waited for folk to come along, this was the last one and I knew I probably wouldn't get anything better so I strolled off. The paper blew down street and only appears in this shot and the girl, as luck would have it, decided to stop in the sunlight to cross the road - she's looking back to see if there's any traffic coming. A simple shot really with a bit of luck thrown in.
Cheers, Alan.

A bumper bag as they say. My favourites include: Matt Hunt's 'Wedding Party' - Lovely characters all beautifully drawn. IanG's 'Polish Lady' - poignancy - and echoing with repeated arches that seem to take her story backwards. Hotblack's 'Discussion' - full of storyline possibilities IanA's 'Watching' Whatever this picture's origins it's a truly powerful shot to the senses. Mertonia's 'Man in a Hat' - Evocative of the 1920s - just delightful. ElSid's 'Tonight I am single' - a situation comedy in one picture. Superb fun. AlanW's 'Market Street' - A fleeting moment of magic - call it luck, call it crafted, it doesn't matter, a very strong contender. I love it.

Is that street photography or cliff-top photography?

Streets and cliff tops....both good for photography but one is better than the other for parking cars on
