My ability to identify birds is only matched by my ability to identify flowers and I thought an Artichoke was a Thistle!!

I had a closer look in Photoshop - had to play about with the levels, but yes - definitely goldfinches. Well spotted, Lisa. :-)

It's Ok Chris - only problem is it's been dark when I've been at home for the past x months (same as for everyone else)that I'd forgotten what there was to see!! Lisa.
