a500?

I've just been into the Sony shop in Tottenham Court Road to have a look at the a350. I said I was really interested in the a900 or whatever they were going to call the full frame camera when it comes out at the end on the year. The guy behind the counter said it's the a500. He got out a glossy catalogue with a two page spread that referred to the a500 as "full frame" and "professional". It also showed a raft of full frame lenses, I recognised the CZ24-70. I was so stunned I didn't even try to get a copy.

Well, there you are, for what it's worth.

First I've heard of this anywhere! Sony have never referred to their forthcoming full frame camera as "professional" - they've always been careful to call it the "flagship"

Go back there NOW and rip the catalogue from his hands
