The Perfect Storm
|
|
Any of you waiting for good weather to complete a module check out Tuesday's AP feature on Magnum's Harry Gruyaert and hang your heads in shame!
The sort of conditions in the pictures featured make it a lot easier to shoot digital - with an easy tonal range and subtle colours so take advantage of it by taking some pictures in this week's predicted storms.

Think I'll stay at home and give the storm a miss Garry. I'm still recovering from last week - clinging onto a post in a gale to take pics of Lindisfarne, loosing my balance and ending up on my bum in the mud (again on Holy Island - tripod got covered in mud too, I had to give it a shower in the hotel) and finally getting soaked and slapped in the face by a wave (the tide was SUPPOSED to be going out) at Dunstanburg. Add to that a bad knee and a visit to the chiropractor to have my back sorted out and I think I've done my bit!! Lisa.

Blimey, I didn't realise the wind was THAT strong that it could blow the castle off the hill
