Yippee! A wideangle at last!
Boo! Too many pixels.

And still too thick to fit in a pocket - unless steamrollered.

The camera or the pocket?
Raw files work in DPP too, and nice new dials on top. Just been to see it - v excited. Just hope it's not too noisey.

Boo! Fast at the wide end will no doubt mean slower at standard focal lengths I use for bike pics.
Agree with the too many pixels for "creative cropping"...cropping means the shot was a failure IMO. Just give it enough pixels for an uncropped images and force people to take better pictures in the first place

I have been holding off buying the G9 because I wanted something a little wider than 35mm and less noisy above ISO400. Not sure about the latter but I'll have a read through the reviews before finally parting with my hard earned

Boo from me too!
1. Too many pixels. 2. No increase in sensor size (like Panny LX3) 3. No variangle screen (don't need 3" flat) 4. 28mm with soft corners (I'd accept it if it was 24mm). I don't get soft corners on my Ricoh 28mm R6. 5. No HD video format or H264 compression for small files.
Missed oppotunity for Canon - roll on G11
