A simple and very efficient way that seems to work ( it does for the organisation that my wife used to tutor for anyway) and takes very little time, is when a student sends in a module, they also include a stamped self addressed postcard that has a line for the module number and a blank line for the date. When the envelope is opened it only requires the admin office to enter the date and pop it back in to the post tray. I find that it's not the time it takes for a tutor to actually mark the module, it's the worry that it has not arrived that is the problem. At least if you get your card back then you know it's in the system. I would be quite happy to try this out with the remainder of my course (digital imaging) if you want to test it. Les |
