First comparison with my compact camera (Leica D-lux 3)is interesting. Colour richness and accuracy is not so wonderful. 18-55 Kit lens very soft. I hasten to add that this is based on a few shots rattled off under time pressure. It wont be till Monday that I get to really have a look at things properly. The handbook looks Ok and will almost certainly cover the colour problem. Looks to me that everything is slightly underexposed. Maybe my printer needs some adjustment too, It's a Cannon Pixma IP4500 and has been very faithful with the Leica?
Anybody out there who has experience of this problem and can point me in the right direction? Might save me a lot of reading time.
The feel of the camera is great and the buttons are just right for me. I can see that I will be able to develop my imagery with patience and time.
