I have to be honest and wonder why they dont provide a soft rubber roller for the Fluid Mount? Surely the idea is to get it consistently level in the first place with the mylar, and you're never going to do this by hand. I might give it a go much later (only thing is I'll wait until its warmer as this will be a scanner in the bedroom - the only place I have - dont want the fumes killing me)

For the price I have to agree they are a bit of a bargain compared to dedicated 5x4 equiped scanners.

I'll be putting in a purchase of the 750 hopefully this week if I can.

How did you find the film holders. I've seen nothing but complaints from the really serious users, lol! I'm tempted to scout about for some professional enlarger film holders if they turn out to be better/more practical.
