Whilst the idea of doing the gardening with a camera sounds rather unusual, there are certainly a number of cameras I can think of, which deserve to be buried in it, the main contender being Dixon's Kowa 35mm SLR of the late 60s, early 70s with a leaf shutter, it's design inspired by Zeiss's Contaflex. The 'reliability' of this camera was such that it just managed to keep on working until the warranty had run out, and then users discovered that not even the most masochistic of repairers would touch it with a barge-pole, for it was likely to commit Hara Kari again within a couple of months. |
