DxO comes with modules for individual camera and individual lenses. These modules are individually calibrated to the characteristics of the camera/lens combination. So, if your camera has a tendancy to purple fringing and softness and your lens tends to vignette and exhibit barrel distortion DxO will correct these in a single pass applying just the right amount of adjustment to each.
