As I'm as poor as a church mouse I use a Pec Pad formed around a slice cut from an old credit card and held in place with a slither cut from a label. I put one or two drops of Eclipse fluid on the very end of the "tool," wait a few seconds and then carry out the clean.

A blast or two from a Rocket is worth trying before carrying out a wet clean.

Thanks, Alan. As you are someone who is very 'keen' to keep their sensor free from dust I'd imagine it would work out very expensive for you, so having a 'home made' device is a logical step
