I really hope you are wrong, cameras area small enough as it is. Making them any smaller would be a disaster from my point of view. Leica have the right idea, keep the camera a comfortable size but increase the sensor size. As for Fuji DSLRs, I have mixed feelings, the latest offering would be much more acceptable if it used Nikon batteries as it could then be better integrated into a Nikon kit. Otherwise, the fact that the sensor interpolates to get to 12MP doesn't really inspire me. I had an S2 but it wasn't my favourite camera and I am much happier with the D2x. I very much doubt I will buy another Fuji DSLR but you never know, it depends on what they offer.
