Camera to replace old Olympus

Hello,

I'm a newbie looking for some advice...

I'm rather fed-up with my Olympus C-370, a camera I bought 3 years ago. The digital delay is unbearable, I'm often left with blurred photos as it has no image stabilisation, and the low-light performance is seemingly non-existant!!

I'm therefore looking to buy a new camera in the next couple of months.

I'm looking for something that:

1) Is reliable
2) Fits in my pocket
3) Costs about 70 or 80 pounds
4) Has at least 3x optical zoom
5) Doesn't have any of the problems my old Olympus has (i.e. has image stabilisation, good low light performance and no digital delay).

I have been flicking through argos and amazon etc. but it's hard just looking at the pictures and reading the manafacturers' blurb to know what is good and what just purports to be.

Thank you very much for your time. I know you must get loads of requests like this.

Rob
