If you look on my DeviantArt page at some of the Cowdray pics (full size), you can see the purple fringing clearly. If I try and correct it in PS (lens distortion correction) then a green fringe appears on the other side of the object!

Other than that it really is a great lens, any ideas on how to remove the fringing greatly appreciated though......




I've had some sucess using this GIMP script. It works by locally reducing saturation of the fringing colours around high contrast edges. Of course, you'll need to download the GIMP in order to run the script, and it adds another step to post processing, but I have found that it reduces the PF in some of the shots from my Fuji S9500 (which is quite bad at wide angle) from "annoying" to "unnoticeable" on medium szed prints, say 10x8". And because of the way that it works, it's unlikely to introduce new artefacts.
