Thanks both of you, but I have today ordered the Sigma 10-20 from warehouse express for under £300 including delivery.
A friend of mine has been using this lens for some considerable time and is genuinely completely happy with it. I expect I will be also.
One has to draw a line in the sand somewhere, or else I would end up broke very quickly!
Especially as I have only recently bought the Pentax 100mm f2.8 macro and the 540 flashgun.
