Enjoy your new camera
The shop probably told you that the Samsung GX10 is exactly the same as a Pentax K10 so you can use Pentax lens's etc.
Just as important is that our friends on the Pentax forum will no doubt be able to help you with any questions you may have whilst you're getting up and running.
