Live view can be very good for still life but I personally wouldn't try it for wild-life (unless your into taking pics of a sleeping dog or a bit of road kill  ) The viewfinder is fine in my opinion but like all these things you really ought to try them in a shop. Don't forget that Oly uses the 4/3rds system which means the pics it takes are slightly squarer than 3:2 formats from Canon and Nikon. That makes the viewfinder experience a little different. If you're spending £500 or so then try to make an effort to visit your local camera store and try them out.
