I bought the E400 in September, and it has worked perfectly until yesterday, when it developed 2 faults, which don't appear to be related but I think they must be as it would be too much of a coincidence if it wasn't.

Firstly, when playing back images on the the E400's screen, they will only play back very small, thumbnail sized in the center of the screen. Using the dial on the top plate will not zoom into the picture (towards the magnifying glass), when turning the dial in the opposite direction it works, showing multiple thumbnails.

More concerning are the appearance of lots of weird dots in the actual image. There are around 36 blocks of 4, placed in regular intervals throughout the image.

When zoomed right in it seems that each dot is made up of around 10 pixels, they are mostly bright green or red.
