E-3 viewfinder compared to full frame?

I was in the garden photographing my 23month old yesterday evening, I had my E-510 and my EOS 5 film camera. She's a little demon, and quick over the ground and I found the VF on the EOS 5 far easier to use with a moving subject. Moving back to the E-510 the VF was tiny and dim in comparison. I'd always dismissed the VF complaints but now I can see where they are coming from. The question is, how does the VF on the E-3 compare to a full frame camera?
