The d300 is probably as close to a 5D as we're gonna see for a long while I reckon.
I think the shutter noise on dslrs should be addressed though. Why do they have to sound like tommy guns?
The amount of times I've scared off wildlife in the garden with mine and from the sounds of the videos on youtube the d3 and d300 aint much better. Possibly worse.
