All Minolta auto-focus lenses from 1985 onwards have the same mount and can be used on all Dynax/Maxxum SLRs and Minolta and Sony dSLR cameras. Those with "D" designation have extra electrical contacts to give information on the actual distance focussed. This, of course, is especially useful in flash photography. The very early Minolta digital SLR, the RD-3000, used the same lenses as the Minolta Vectis APS film cameras.
