      As for how I got the image. There is a company called CaptiveLight who hold workshops for various subjects, Harvest Mice being one such subject.
      The backgrounds, props and lighting are all provided in a studio environment, which can be controlled. the mice cannot. 2 secs later and this pose was gone. Great fun

      When you replaced the image my rating was lost, so I have entered it again. My suggestion about the image size followed from the stories in AP about the famous monkey 'selfie' which was placed 'full size' on a public site and then downloaded and used by various organisations that did not pay for it.

      I suspected soft flash from a large brolly or reflector because the shadows are so soft.
      My wife loves this picture too.
