I was supposed to be taking photos of dogs in a group of likeminded dog lovers in a fun training class. I was looking to take advantage of the evening sun, with its honey tones bringing out the rich chestnut colours in some of the dog’s coats. My mind wandered, I looked up and noticed the window. It was the 6th of June. I considered what would have changed had events been different seventy five years ago. I think there are more elements in this photo and the situation that would have been transformed, as well as the obvious. Sometimes underexposure reveals more.
