e-bay sickness
      #680446 - 18/07/2008 20:34

I have just bought on e-bay a Tamron AF80-210 f 4.5-5.6 lens, I don't know quite why as I am new to digital photography and was egged on by a colleague who's photographic skills only extend to once having had a half share in a Polaroid Camera with his sister. On a more serious note, I intend to use this with my newly purchased a200 kit. I bought it from the States for £30 and was described as as new, question, was £30.00 a reasonable price and what will I be able to use it for?
Let this be a lesson to all potential bargin hunters!

Providing it's the right fitting it'll be quite useful and the price was good (let's hope you don't get stung for import duties/fees/vat). Here's a description, some photos of it and one review.
